Second opening of ArtWalk 2022 set for Friday

The Nelson & District Arts Council (NDAC) is looking forward to seeing the streets buzzing again with art lovers on Friday, July 29th for the second opening of ArtWalk 2022.
The second opening will see more than 25 venues display as many as 60 artists for folks to explore.
This opening is happening on the same night as the first Market Night so the ArtWalk hours will be a bit earlier in the hopes of getting folks out to explore the art before they head to the market.
Venues will be open from 5 – 8 p.m. on the Friday. The art will still be available to view up until the closing of ArtWalk on Sept 4th.
The night also included 4 mini performance spaces for musicians and entertainers, including the Judy Brown Band at the amenity area by Broken Hill, Talel McBriar at Red Light Ramen and Aurelien Sudan at AM Radio Cafe.
Abby Wilson will be live painting by Remedy Rx as well. ArtWalk is an annual tradition that has united businesses, artists, and community members for over three decades.
