Road Kings Queen City Cruise sets record for vehicles

More than 360 cars, along with Mother Natues providing a stunning September Saturday, from the southern BC Interior, Washington, Idaho, southern Alberta made the 2014 Road Kings Queen City Cruise the best ever event.

Vehicles owners began descending on the Heritage City Friday afternoon for registration and the parade starting from Nelson Avenue and onto downtown Nelson.

Early Saturday morning, vehicles began arriving on the 400 and 500 Blocks of Baker Street.

Crowds by the thousands made their way through Baker and side streets to view the many cars, trucks and antiques.

Saturday afternoon awards were given in numerous categories before everyone flocked to the top of the Nelson Parkade for the Rooftop Dance.
