Police continue to search for missing man

The Nakusp RCMP is once again seeking public assistance in locating Christopher Sanford who was reported missing on August 5, 2019.

Christopher Sanford is a 36-year-old male who was last seen on August 4, 2019 in Nakusp, at that time his plan was to travel to Kelowna. Sanford’s vehicle was located abandoned in Fauquier, BC on August 5, 2019.

Extensive search in the area his vehicle was located has not been successful in locating him.

Sanford’s family has not had any contact from him which is very unusual.

Sanford is described as about 6”, approximately 150-160 pounds, tall and very slim, brown eyes, dark brown hair in a brush cut, he has a full sleeve tattoo on his left arm He was last seen wearing camo pants and a black t-shirt and barefoot.
