Nelson Reflections swimmers shine at BC Summer Games

Three Nelson Reflections swimmers won medals at the BC Summer Games in Prince George.
Competing for the Kootenay Zone at the provincial event, Ashley and Brooke Sonnichsen won medals in Synchronized Swimming while teammate Jessica Fitchett achieved a personal best, finishing in fourth place during the meet.
Ashley Sonnichsen won gold in Figures while the two Sonnichsen swimmers combined to win the top prize in the Duet.
Brooke and Ashley will now compete in the National Stream next season and working toward Team BC for the 2025 Canada Summer Games
Fitchett, one of the club's talented coaches, will compete for the Reflections next season.
The Reflections season begins again in mid-September.
