Nelson police investigating report of rocks thrown at vehicles

Nelson Police have opened an investigation into a report of rocks being thrown at passing vehicles on Monday, October 25, 2021, on Lakeside Drive near the Chalko Mika Mall.
Police said in a media release the incident happened between 4-5 p.m. in the surrounding area of 1000 Block of Lakeside Drive.
Nelson Police said at least two vehicles were damaged because of this incident.
“The Nelson Police Department (NPD) is seeking the public’s assistance in an investigation that has identified individuals responsible for throwing rocks at passing cars resulting in damage to at least two vehicles,” the NPD media release said.
