Man found not guilty in absentia in Slocan Valley grow-op

RCMP didn’t get their man in this case.

BC Supreme Court has ruled not guilty in the case of a man accused of a marijuana grow operation in Winlaw — even though he did not show up for trial.

Police had seized nearly $1.2 million worth of plants in April of 2009 but the man did not show up for his court date this week.
