The Kootenay Bombers 18U claimed the top prize at the recent BC Club Volleyball Championships at the Richmond Olympic Oval.
The Bombers defeated Sunshine Coast two straight in the final.
The U18 Bombers finished first after round robin play with wins over North Star and Squamish Wild.
During the playoff round, the advanced past Sea to Sky Stars in quarterfinal action and the Maple Ridge Cougars in the semi-finals in three games.
The team includes, coach Staci Proctor and players Amelia Finley, Hannah McClure, Robyn Bunyan, Megan Bonikowsky, Abby Ens, Atlyn Proctor, Lexi Elias, Sedona Shuel, Gevyn Hlookoff, Olivia, Bezaire, Natasha, Holland and Breanna St Thomas.
The Kootenay Bombers now prepare for the final tournament of the club season, the Nationals in Calgary May 18-20.
