L.V. Rogers varsity basketball teams take to the Hangar Friday to host the Bomber Classic High School Girl’s and Boy’s Basketball tournament.

The annual tourney opens Friday at 2 p.m. in front of the student body as the LVR Bombers play host to the Selkirk Storm of Kimberley.

The Bombers have owned the Storm this season, winning both meetings between the two clubs.

The LVR varsity girls follow the tip off match at 3:45 p.m. against Prince Charles Comets of Creston.

The girls play Fernie Falcons at 7:15 p.m. following a boy’s game between Mount Sentinel Wildcats and Vernon’s Kalamalka Lakers.

The Bomber boys play at 12:15 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. against Kal and Mount Sentinel, respectively, in the four-team round robin draw.

The top two teams of the three-tam girl’s draw meet at 2 p.m. in the tourney final.

All action is set for the LVR Hangar.
