To the Editor:
This year I had the pleasure of attending the Seniors Games for the first time.
I wanted to say how much I enjoyed it and how fantastic the townspeople and the volunteers were.
From losing keys (and finding them) and eating fabulous meals at Nelson`s restaurants to riding on the Electric Tram I had a wonderful time.
Everyone was warm, friendly and helpful from the Security folk watching the Dragon boats to the courtesy car drivers to the Tram engineer and conductor noone could have been more helpful.
I am looking forward to next year`s games ... but somehow I don`t think the big city will be as welcoming as the Kootenay towns.
Thank you ever so.
