Koot-Neigh Club rocks Equestrian Riding Championships

Riders from the Koot-Neigh Club in Blewett recently return home with medals following competition at the BC Equestrian Riding Championships held recently in Chilliwack.

A total of seven athletes and three horses captured 14 ribbons — nine of which were in the top four, and the Top BC Trot Horse for the third consecutive year.

The team includes Neve Hamilton, Julia Kromer-Anton, Selina Kromer-Anton, Coach Naomi Weber, Priya Comstock, Elisse Southam, Cloe Comstock and Julia Markin-Hellekson as well as horses Quinette, which won best BC Trot, Tesslin and Sullivan.

Koot-NeighKorynn Weber is heading to North Carolina to compete in the sport of equestrian riding against the best competition in the world.

The Blewett resident will represent Canada at the World Equestrian Games in Tryon, North Carolina, September 11-16.
