Crowds gather for Nelson Pilots Association Airport Appreciation Day

Airplane enthusiasts received red carpet treatment at Sunday’s Nelson Pilots Association Airport Appreciation Day at the Nelson Airport.
Crowds gathered to see floatplanes on display as British Columbia Float Plane Association (BCFA) held its 2016 Annual General Meeting a Fly-in at the Nelson Airport.
The BCFA likes Nelson for its convenient airport, water landing and mooring.
Planes were seen on Kootenay Lake near the airport as well as at the Nelson Airport. There was also collector cars thanks to the Nelson Road Kings.
Nelson Pilots Association hosted a pancake breakfast.
