It's the Nelsondale High School Science Fair as the Capitol Theatre presents the 32nd annual Christmas Pantomime which opened Thursday before a packed house.

Dilton Doily, played by Lhasa Yallop-Ryan, has created a device that might just change the world, BUT a nefarious, Felonious Fester (Allan Pusey) bad guy is plotting sabotage.

Who will come to the rescue to save the day — Archie (Rio Isaacs), Betty (Jasmine Grace) or Veronica (Cetonaya Sammartino)? Or may Jughead (Molly Thomson)?

The Panto is directed by Laurie Jarvis with Tyler Isaacs DeJong as Musical Director and Choreographer Carly Brandel providing a fantastic cast of Nelson panto-maniacs in this year’s show: Archie in Nelsondale.

The panto is a Capitol Theatre fundraiser. The audience is asked to cheer the good guys, boo the bad guys, but most of all, come to support their favourite community theatre by enjoying the hilarious antics of a brilliant cast made up of your friends and neighbours.

The 2019 Christmas Panto Archie in Nelsondale has runs through the weekend with evening and matinee performances Saturday and Sunday.

Tickets can be purchased at the Capitol Theatre Box Office.
