Boxing Club hosts Fight Night VI

The Nelson Boxing Club Fight Night VI is set for Saturday (May 11) at the Rod and Gun Club.
Headlining the event is Nelson’s own, Elias Martinez, who is coming off a silver medal performance at the recent Canadian National Championships on Vancouver Island.
Martinez is up against Portland’s Santiago Franco in the main event.
There are 14 other fights matching boxers from Surrey, Nanaimo, Revelstoke, Cranbrook, Portland, Ore and the host Nelson Boxing Club.
Advance tickets for $20 are available at the Nelson Boxing Club at 685 Baker Street near Pharmasave. Tickets at the door are $25.
This is a family friendly event, and a great time for all ages. There will be home-cooked Mexican food on offer, great music, and an in-between rounds fashion show by Streetclothes Named Desire.
Tickets are good for discounts at the afterparty to follow the boxing card at Finley’s Bar and Grill.
