Black Productions is proud to bring THE ADDAMS FAMILY: A New Musical to Nelson audiences in May of 2023.

This deviously delicious musical comedy with a book by Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice and music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa is coming to the Capitol Theatre for the musical theater event of the season.

THE ADDAMS FAMILY is directed by Lindsay Clague (The Gin Game), with musical direction by Malaika Horswill (Newsies, Little Women) and choreography by Mackenzie Hope (Mamma Mia!, Grease).

Black Productions is seeking actors, singers, and dancers ages 18 and up to come out and audition for Broadway’s hit filled, hair raising comedy musical.

Auditions are held January 28th and 29th at the Selkirk College 10th Street Campus (Music Building).

Auditionees are requested to bring in a verse and chorus from two songs, one from the show and one of their choosing to showcase their vocal range.

A scene reading and basic choreography will occur at the auditions. Please contact addamsfamilynelson@gmail.com to book an audition time, or for more information.

Based on the bizarre and beloved characters created by Charles Addams, this original story finds the famously macabre Addams Family put to the test when outsiders come to dinner, hurling Gomez, Morticia, Wednesday, Pugsley, Fester, Grandmama and Lurch headlong into a night that will change the family forever.
