The BC Liberals, in advance of the upcoming by-election, officially nominated and launched Kevin Falcon’s campaign for Vancouver-Quilchena.

Falcon was recently elected as leader of the BC Liberal Party during a recent leadership convention in February.

“I am honored to be the BC Liberal candidate in Vancouver-Quilchena,” said BC Liberal Leader and by-election candidate Kevin Falcon.

Falcon said for the past five years, John Horgan and the NDP have failed to deliver on the everyday priorities of British Columbians.

“As the cost of living continues to increase and everything from rent to groceries, to gas, gets more expensive, the NDP still has no plan to help British Columbians struggling with rising costs,” Falcon said.

“The hard work starts now as we work to put forward a positive vision for the future of British Columbia.”

Falcon also called on Premier John Horgan to stop the delays and call the by-election as soon as possible.

“The residents of Vancouver-Quilchena deserve to have representation in the legislature. John Horgan should stop delaying and call this by-election as soon as possible so the people of Vancouver-Quilchena can have the democratic representation they deserve.”

The by-election is to replace former BC Liberal MLA Andrew Wilkinson, who resigned his seat in the legislature.

The NDP government has six months to call the by-election.
