The Nelson Figure Skating Club is busy working out the final quirks for the Wish Upon A Star, a Disney themed ice show.

The annual ice show is set for Saturday from 2-3 p.m.

The Nelson Storytelling Guild is hosting its monthly meeting Sunday at 4 p.m. in the in the Back Alley Studio in the alley across from Oxygen Studio.

The reason for the meeting is to review the 2012 RDCK budget.

The Kootenay Rhythm Dragons are rolling out the red carpet for new paddlers with a membership drive Saturday, March 10 at the Community First Health Co-op Building in Nelson.
