View the sun (safely) Sunday at Taghum Hall

The upcoming weekend is not only a celebration for the labour force but also an opportunity to trek to the Taghum Hall Sunday (September 2) to view the Sun with our Hydrogen Alpha Scope.
The Taghum Hall board invites the public to safely look at the sun through filters on the big telescope.
The event runs from noon until 2 p.m.
Wayne the Star Guy will be on hand to set up the equipment and explain what you are seeing.
Bring a picnic and enjoy the lovely scenery and looking at the sun.
