TELUS Ambassadors raise money for Nelson Friends of the Family

The parking lot at the Great Canadian Superstore was a beehive of activity Saturday as the TELUS Ambassadors joined forces with the Nelson Friends of the Family to raise money with a Gigantic Garage Sale.
There was everything from books to clothes to . . . well, everything.
The TELUS Ambassadors are former workers now retired trying to help out in any way they can make Nelson and area a better place to live.
The Nelson Friends of the Family is a non-profit group that assists families in need with medical attention — provide monetary aid for travel and/or accommodation expenses due to hospital care and treatment away from home and administrative guidance and assistance to the family and/or family support groups that are attempting to fundraise for further short and long term care.
Organizers were still counting the profits and will have a figure soon when they make the presentation to the Nelson Friends of the Family.
