Soul Fire Dance back for another season

Spring is here and Soul Fire Dance is eager to bring another great session

Classes begin in early April with Fundamental Moves and Groves along with Performance Class and Shimmy Mob Rehearsals.

The Fundamental Moves & Grooves runs from April 8 to June 3 beginning at 6:30 p.m. for 75 minutes.

This exciting class is integral for bellydance conditioning, fundamental moves and essential techniques is suitable for beginner and intermediate dancers. 

The Performance Class and Shimmy Mob Rehearsals follow at 7:45 p.m., returning students of the Fall 2012 and Winter 2013 Sessions and Shimmy Mob participants who are preparing for Performances this Spring and Summer.

Soul Fire Dance is run by founder Shauna Robertson.

Robertson, involved in many genres of dance since a young child, began studying Middle Eastern Dance in 1998 and studied with many world famous dancers in Classical Oriental, Egyptian, Ghawazee, Turkish Romany, American Tribal Style and Tribal Fusion Bellydance. 

Robertson has produced and choreographed several dance and ceremonial dance productions which have toured in the BC Southern Interior and has been teaching in the Slocan Valley and Nelson area since 2004. 

All classes are held at the Trillium Studio in South Slocan at the old School House near the Dam Inn.
