Rec Leadership at LVR hosts annual Christmas Fundraiser

Rec Leadership students are L.V. Rogers in Nelson are doing their part to help keep the shelves at the Salvation Army Food Bank filled by hosting the second annual Christmas Fundraiser scheduled for Saturday (December 8) at the Fairview-based High School.
The Christmas fundraiser runs from 9 a.m. to noon in the gymnasium and cafeteria at LVR.
The events planned include pancake breakfast, silent auction, Christmas crafts, bake sale, children’s games, and pictures with Santa.
Students urge people wanting pictures with Santa to bring their own camera.
Along with the Nelson Salvation Army, proceeds will also benefit Nelson Kidsport.
This is the second annual Christmas Fundraiser.
The event in 2011 proved to be a tremendous success.
