Selkirk College is now offering a series of Parent Information Sessions and Education Fairs throughout the region in March and April to help you make the best decisions for your child’s future career and employment goals.

Parents of children in Grades 9 – 12, high school students and/or adults looking into post-secondary programs are invited to attend these free events where we will offer a variety of information about Selkirk College programs and services.

Sessions will cover areas such as: programs & courses, the college to university credit transfer system, counselling & academic advising, financial aid opportunities, admissions, as well as post secondary costs & tuition. The session will also include a question and answer period along with a mini education fair.

The education fairs will offer you the opportunity to talk to program and service representatives from Selkirk College, and all Selkirk schools will have tables with information about what they have to offer.

The Castlegar session is on Wednesday, March 7, 2012 from 6:15-7:30 p.m. at our Castlegar campus.

The Trail session is on April 3, 2012 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at theTrail campus with the Mini Education Fair to follow from 7:30 to 8 p.m.

The Nelson session is on April 17 from 6:30 to 7:30 pm, with another Mini Education Fair to follow from 7:30 to 8 p.m.
