Nelson Lion's Club prepares to host Variety Show in January

The Nelson Lion’s Club is hosting its annual Variety Show on January 23, 2019 at the Capitol Theatre on Victoria Street.
The show, which continues to be suitable for children of all ages, starts at 6:30 p.m.
Tele-marketing sales will be starting soon so please be sure to answer your phone when we call and support your local Lions Club by purchasing tickets for your family or for less fortunate children in the community.
Highlighting the show is the Murray Hatfield & Teresa Magic Show. Since 1992 the pair have thrilled audiences in numerous countries with their signature brand of magic, comedy and stunning state-of-the-art illusions.
All proceeds will be used for our various community projects such as Youth Sport, cultural and educational youth activities, local families needing assistance, scholarships at L.V. Rogers High School, local food programs, local Seniors, Lions Park, Lions Point on the water front pathway, Special Olympics, Lions Easter Seal House near Children’s Hospital in Vancouver, Lions Easter Seal Camp at Winfield for Handicapped Children and Lions Foundation of Canada Guide Dogs.
