The Nelson & District Hospice Society is hosting a ZOOM session to assist the public living with the loss from an overdose death.

Healing from grief is not the process of forgetting, it is the process of remembering with less pain and more joy.

This group will provide healing support for people coping with the potential shock, grief and complex emotions that may accompany the death of a loved one to an overdose.

Led by Fiona Job, Registered Clinical Counsellor, addictions specialist, and Nancy Radonich, a trained NDHS peer-support facilitator, this group will provide a safe space for looking more deeply into grief after an overdose death.

The program runs for eight Tuesdays from 7-8:30 p.m., beginning February 23, 2021. Fee is a suggested donation of $25.
