The Nelson Lions Club, social distancing of course, is hosting its annual Firewood Sale, Saturday, October 3 at the new location — across from the Blewett Elementary School —  beginning at 8 a.m.

Cost is $250 per cord of dry fir wood, but customers will only be charged for what they take.

The new site, located west of Nelson on Granite Road, is on private property, so No Early Birds.

The Lions Club urges the public to please practice social distancing while loading their own vehicles.

All funds raised go back to promote Lions Club programs in the community, including grants, scholarships and donations.
