Kootenays send busload to Enbridge Hearing in Kelowna January 28th

The West Kootenay EcoSociety is offering a chance for the public to attend the Enbridge pipeline on Monday (January 28) in Kelowna.

The society is chartering a bus for the one-day trek, there and back.

The bus leaves Nelson at 6 a.m., picking up people in Castlegar and Grand Forks, and returning at about 9:30-10 p.m. that evening.

The cost for participants will be only $30 each for the trip.

The National Energy Board Enbridge hearing is scheduled for Kelowna, starting at 10 a.m. at the Sandman Hotel, 2130 Harvey Avenue.

Only registered presenters will have a chance to speak.
