Kootenay Rhythm Dragons host fundraiser Saturday at Finley's

Anyone wanting to support the fight of breast cancer and help the Kootenay Rhythm Dragons at the same time are invited to Rhythm Dragons Fundraiser, Friday (June 7) at Finley’s Irish Pub & Grill on Vernon Street in Nelson.
Fun begins at 6 p.m. and continues to 8 p.m. Tickets cost $15 which provides a Frosty Cold Drink and a Sizzling Grilled Burger.
In addition an evening of fun, music, door prizes, toonie draws, and 50/50 draws will be enjoyed by all.
Advance tickets are available from KRD Team members or at the door Friday evening.
The Kootenay Rhythm Dragons are busy training to attend the Kelowna Dragon Boat Festival July 27-28 at the Riverfront Park in Kelowna.
In September the KRD team will be travelling to Kalispell Montana to participate in the Montana Dragon Boat Festival on Flathead Lake, Kalispell Montana.
This will be a new adventure for this team as it is the first race they have attended outside of Canada.
The Kootenay Rhythm Dragons is an inclusive team and we want all women to be able to enjoy the sport, the camaraderie and the support of the team.
