Frito Lay Canada supports Nelson Salvation Army

It’s the season of giving and staff at Frito Lay Canada wanted to make their donation count.

Which is why the company decided to help out the Nelson Salvation Army Food Bank with a donation of funds to keep the doors open during this holiday season at the Vernon Street location.

Here (picture) Nelson Frito-Lay rep John McCuaig presents Major Robin Burrows of the Nelson Salvation Army with a cheque for $570.

The Nelson Salvation Army is currently in its busiest fundraising month.

As well as accepting donations of food and toys, the Nelson Salvation Army has its Kettle Drive going an several locations in Nelson where the public can donate cash to support the Food Bank as well as other programs.
