The theme for this free workshop event is “Renewal”.

The workshop will be supportive for healthcare and social service workers and the greater community to renew and improve wellbeing. While this educational event is geared towards healthcare and social service workers, this is for all members of our community.

Those attending will learn more about harm reduction, trauma, substance use, reducing stigma, the overdose crisis, and Indigenous history. The workshop will support our participants to decolonize healthcare and community service and emergency services practice.

Some smaller group activities in this virtual morning workshop. Peers (people with lived and living experience of substance use) will be supported to attend through the REDUN peer network.

Registration can be done online.

Please be advised that seats are very limited for this event.

This is an ANKORS, Nelson Fentanyl Task Force, Castlegar Fentanyl Opioid Working Group, and Grand Forks Community Action Team Event.
