Final Market Fest of 2012 Summer goes Friday
It’s difficult to believe but summer is coming to an end which means Friday is the final chance to attend Market Fest on Baker Street.
Market Fest promises to go out with a bang as more than 100 vendors will be featured on two blocks of Baker Street along with a food court featuring an eclectic mix of dinner and snack options, a kids tent with giant bubbles, and seven fabulous acts on two stages.
The Moving Mosaic Samba band will kick off the event at 6 p.m. on more than four hours of family-friendly party.
Admission is by suggested donation of $5.
For August, entertainment highlights include Friendliness and the Human Rights from Toronto, Vancouver’s The Carnival Band, and Nelson’s own Brian Rosen and The WhatNow.
