Chamber of Mines Conference and Trade Show a big hit

Suppliers, assayers and exploration companies joined forces at the Chamber of Mines of Eastern BC Minerals South Conference and Trade Show held recently in Nelson.
The event took over the Prestige Inn Lakeside Resort the first week of November.
Not only did the event reach more than 125 mineral enthusiasts, but also offered expert knowledge to at least 166 school kids who toured the displays.
The Minerals South Conference and Trade Show banquet attracted 140 people with the BoomTown Garter Girls providing entertainment.
The Conference started off with a top notch Short Course on Exploration Geochemistry “Principles Strategies and Tools” by Heberlein Geoconsulting and ioGlobal.
GeoscienceBC organized and sponsored the Short Course.
The conference featured 28 speakers that gave presentations on geology, exploration projects, new mapping and theories.
