AIDS Walk goes Friday at Rotary Shelter in Lakeside Park

The AIDS Walk event is happening on Friday, August 30th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Rotary Shelter in Lakeside Park in Nelson.
This year, there will not be a traditional “walk” throughout the streets of Nelson, only the gathering at Lakeside Park.
This event will include a barbecue picnic, and aims to promote awareness and education of HIV/AIDS in the Kootenays, as well as to celebrate ANKORS and our services in the community.
This year’s fundraising efforts are made through an online silent auction, available at www.32auctions.com/ANKORS2019
There are many fantastic items and gift certificates donated from local businesses, including restaurants, zip-lines, massage, and much more.
This online silent auction is open now and closes September 1.
