Neptune swim meet

And they're off on the Kootenay Summer Swim Association Season.
Sunday morning, the first event was the backstroke.
These swimmers were quick out of the blocks.
Next event was the breaststroke, which this Grand Forks swimmer mastered during the final few meters.
The novice competitors, with a little help from the seniors swimmers, earned plenty of cheering from the crowd.
The marshalling area is a place to mentally prepare for the upcoming swim.

There is plenty of down time at swim meets, which is enjoyed in the team camps.
