Mallard's Team of the Week — Nelson Maple Leafs Oldtimers

Mallard’s Source for sports decided to dip into the sports achieves for the Team of the Week.
Mallard’s took a trip down memory lane to find the Nelson Maple Leafs Oldtimers hockey club.
The Oldtimers were formed from numerous players from the former Western International Hockey League.
The Senior Hockey League included teams from Nelson, Trail, Cranbrook, Rossland, Kimberley, Fernie and Spokane.
The Nelson squad won many tournaments on the Oldtimers hockey circuit.
The team members included, Don Ball, Shorty Malacho, Hugh Hooker, Ernie Moisey, Norm Hickman, Keith Stewart, Leroy Mowery, Buck Crawford, Al Roemer, Howie Hornby, Corky Agar, Ted Hargreaves, Wayne “Macker” McElroy, goalie Bill Freno and Brian Russell.
