Nelson Italian-Canadian Society makes generous donation to Community Food Centre

The Nelson Italian-Canadian Society is very pleased to again support the Nelson Community Food Centre this year with a donation of $2000.
The funds were raised through sales of Italian sausages, Pizzelle cookies and spaghetti sauce that the NICS offered during this past year.
These three main fundraisers proved to be very successful as each event sold out with many people left wanting as they were not able to get their orders in early enough.
The NICS will be at it again next year and would like to thank everyone who supported the fundraising efforts.
The monies raised go to support a number of local charities and initiatives.
