Mallard's Team of the Week — Salmo Falcons Grade 8 Basketball

The Salmo Falcons defeated Stanley Humphries Coyotes 35-20 to capture the West Kootenay Grade 8 Girls Basketball Crown at a tournament earlier this month in Castlegar.
The Falcons, coached by Dale Verdon and Ryan Hutton, finished the season without a loss.
“What an amazing team. . .. As a coach I couldn’t have asked for better,” said coach Ryan Hutton.
What was more amazing is the Falcons achieved the undefeated season with a roster of only six players.
Mallard’s Source for sports would like to add to the outstanding season by the Falcon with Team of the Week honours.
The players on the Falcons include Naiomi Stavast, Arie Hutton, Kayla Cassar, Savanah Boyer, Kaja Poitras and Payton Speedie.
