Interior Health hosts pop-up vaccine clinics in Nelson/Castlegar area

Interior Health will host drop-in immunization clinics in the Nelson and Castlegar areas for anyone who has not yet received their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, or anyone who received their first dose more than 28 days ago.

People can walk-up, register and receive their first or second COVID-19 vaccine.

  • August 21                     Craft and Farmers Market                     9 a.m. – 1 p.m. 400 13th Ave, Castlegar
  • August 24                     Chahko Mika Mall                                 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. 1150 Lakeside Dr, Nelson
  • August 25                     Lakeside Park                                        10 a.m. – 2 p.m. 306 Elwyn St, Nelson
  • August 26                     Chahko Mika Mall                                 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. 1150 Lakeside Dr, Nelson
  • August 27                     Across from Dragonfly Cafe                  10 a.m. – 2 p.m. 413 Railway Ave, Salmo
  • August 28                     Cottonwood Falls Market                      10 a.m. – 2 p.m.  199 Carbonate St, Nelson
  • August 30                     Lakeside Park                                        10 a.m. – 2 p.m. 306 Elwyn St, Nelson
  • August 31                     Chahko Mika Mall                                 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. 1150 Lakeside Dr, Nelson
  • September 3                 Nelson & District Complex                   10 a.m. – 2 p.m. 305 Hall St, Nelson
  • September 11               Lion’s Head Pub                                    12 – 6 p.m. 2629 Broadwater Rd, Robson

Anyone in the area born in 2009 or earlier is eligible for immunization. People are eligible for their second dose 28 days after receiving their first dose.

Ongoing immunization clinics

People can also get their first or second dose of a COVID-19 vaccine by dropping in to an immunization clinic or making an appointment.

To make an appointment, register online by visiting the provincial website at www.getvaccinated.gov.bc.ca/, call 1‑833‑838‑2323, or visit a Service BC office listed here, and then book an appointment.
