The 33rd edition of the Capitol Theatre Summer Youth Program takes to the stage this weekend for the presentation of Little Women — The Musical, Thursday through Saturday.

Based on Louisa May Alcott’s life, Little Women follows the adventures of sisters Jo, Meg, Beth and Amy March as Jo weaves a story of herself and sisters growing up during the Civil War in America.

This timeless, captivating story is brought to life in this glorious musical filled with personal discovery, heartache, hope and love.

Little Women is directed by Adrianna Bogaard with musical direction by Malaika Horswill and choreography by Carly Brandel.

“It’s an honour to welcome you back to the Capitol Theatre for this year’s Summer Youth Program production, Little Women,” said Bogaard.

“Though this program is special to us in any year, it certainly has had a heightened feeling of importance this summer after such a long break away from the stage.”

Due to the BC COVID-19 restart, the Capitol Theatre has limited seating for these performances.

Tickets start at $20 and can be purchased that the Capitol Theatre Box Office link.
