Newly elected Nelson-Creston MLA Brittny Anderson is providing over 900 locally made chocolate bars to holiday food hamper programs across the area.

“We weren’t able to do any of the usual holiday outreach gatherings this year, but I still wanted to do something special for people across the riding,” said Anderson of the initiative. “The holidays are going to be harder than usual for many this year, this is something small that I can do to bring some holiday cheer to local families that need it.”

MLA Anderson was elected to serve the people of Nelson-Creston at the provincial government level on October 24, 2020.

Anderson is currently getting set up in her Nelson community office which, after some needed health and safety upgrades, will be open more fully to the Public in the New Year. Constituency offices can help connect you with provincial government services or agencies and can advise and assist you with advocacy to the provincial government on issues you care about.

The chocolates, made by local company Nelson Chocofellar, contain MLA Anderson’s local contact information.
