Mallard's Team of the Week — Nelson Lions Club

The Nelson Lions Club, social distancing of course, made a lot of homes a little warmer thanks to the club’s annual Firewood Sale held earlier this month.
The Lions Club sold out of wood in less than two hours as locals flocked to the Granite Road site with trucks, trailers and cars ready for filling.
The Firewood Sale fundraiser allows the Lions Club of Nelson to offer community grants to local organizations in the Heritage City.
Lions Club gives back all monies raised from fundraising activities, or donates as well as funds generated from our investment with the Osprey Foundation which allows the club to increase its fund base and give even more to other groups, organizations and activities that benefit the community.
