Kootenay PRIDE invites public to organizing meeting on Thursday

By Contributor
July 8th, 2019

Kootenay PRIDE is gearing up for the 24th annual Pride celebration and they need your help.

Every Labour Day weekend the LGBTQ2SI+ community holds events all weekend long and this year will be something special. We want your help to ensure that there is lots to do for everyone of all ages and identities.

Do you have an idea for an event? Do you have time to help out with events during the Labour Day weekend? Do you want to meet people in the community?

Come on down to  Reo’s Movie Emporium meeting room, 501 Front Street on Thursday, July 11, 2019. 6:30 – 8pm

Bring your ideas that YOU want to make happen. Bring your energy to volunteer to help make something happen.

We need graphic skills and social media people, people who are savvy about getting things done in this town, public relations and creative folk.

We have seven weeks, so come on down to Reo’s and let’s do it!

New people in town, please come and meet the amazing community here.

If you wish to talk with one of the organizers before the meeting, phone 250-509-0064 to reach Michael.
