Team Rear Guard repeats as winner of The Nelson Daily/MS award

Team Rear Guard did it again.

The squad raised more than $12,000 to repeat as winners of The Nelson Daily team award during the weekend MS Bike West Kootenay Challenge.

Team Rear Guard, consisting of Jim and Nancy Noiles, P’nina Shames, Lorne Westnedge, Randy Hauer and Peter Martyn, raised a total of $12,729.18 for MS research.

Save On Food was second at $9,565 with Atco Wood’n Wheelers third at $6,555.

In total, the ride raised more than $86,000.
