UPDATED: NPD reports missing man found

Nelson Police are advising the missing man in Nelson has been located.
Eric Urquhart, who had been reported missing Sunday, was located later that day.
Nelson Police said Urquhart is in good health and became aware that someone had reported him as missing. Police said the file has now been closed.
Police need public assistance in finding missing man
Nelson Police is requesting the public assistance in locating a 39-year-old man believed to be in the Nelson area.
Eric Urquhart, who has a distinctive swallow tattoo on the left side of his neck, expressed an an intention to travel to Southern Vancouver Island.
Police are asking if anyone has seen or has come in contact with Urquhart to please contact Nelson Police Department at 250) 354-3919 or the local police department or detachment.
