Mallard's Team of the Week — 2018 Grads of L.V. Rogers

Senior students throughout the province prepare for their final days of high school, Mallard’s Source for sports thought it would be best to spotlight a group from L.V. Rogers who recently went over and above the call of duty.
The group was recently part of a work party at Six Mile Lakes Road who helped remove and collect some 200 kilograms of very old and very dirty garbage from a popular party spot in the Duhamal Watershed.
Organzier Val Gibson said in recent years the are has been the dumping of tires, old furniture, computers, used motor oil and propane tanks have been added to the toxic mix and was becoming overwhelming and a dismal embarrassing eyesore.
Mallard’s Source for sports would like to say “Thanks” to the LVR Grads who joined the work party with Team of the Week honours.
The LVR Grads include, Anna Milde, Julia Burkhart, Bailey Stefani, Angus Patterson, Noah Daigle, Lucas Hanning Brown, Isaac Gray and Owen Box.
Those same LVR Grads will be part of the annual Graduation Ceremonies this weekend in Nelson. Party of the weekend is the Cavalcade through downtown Nelson.
