Mudslide alters West Kootenay Transit Service Routes

Email alert issued Wednesday by West Kootenay Transit Services:
Hwy 3A is closed due to a mudslide two kms east of Brilliant.
West Kootenay Transit will be providing limited, unscheduled shuttle service between Playmor Junction and Castlegar/Selkirk Collage, Via Pass Creek Road.
Regular scheduled transit service will continue between Nelson, Playmor Junction and Thrums Market.
Transit Passengers are asked to explore alternate transportation options if possible as the shuttle bus being used has limited seating.
