Touchstones Nelson hosts MUSEUM MASH
Touchstones Nelson: Museum of Art and History will once again throw open its doors to people of all ages for a fun and free event, MUSEUM MASH.
Sunday, March 11 (don’t forget to turn the clocks ahead) will be a great time to spend the day exploring your museum, gallery and archives in new ways.
All three floors of Touchstones’ historic building will be a hub of activity, with crafts, workshops and performances in the museum, the galleries and the archives. Discover Circus, Brian Kalbfleisch, and magician Nathan Vogel will be entertaining in the galleries, surrounded by two brand new exhibitions Paul Seesequasis: Indigenous Archive Photo Project and She. We. They: The Women Show.
Museum Mash is the perfect opportunity for people of all ages to discover the art and history that is all around us in this beautiful historic building that is Touchstones.
Admission is free, and events will be held throughout the day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Join us in this celebration and shake off the winter blues!
