Road Construction in Railtown Area

The City of Nelson Public Works Department would like to advise area residents of construction to the utility infrastructure on Government Road in Railtown which commenced Wednesday, August 16.
The project, which will take up to a week to complete, will restrict traffic on Government Road for the duration of the project.
“Motorists are advised not to drive through Railtown (Railway Street and Government Road) unless they are visiting a place of business,” the City of Nelson media release said.
City of Nelson media release said access to Government Road from Highway 3A will also be restricted during this project.
The City of Nelson apologizes for any inconvenience during the duration of this project.
