Senior Novice Leafs sweep pair of games in Trail

The Nelson Leafs Senior Novice team won a pair of games last weekend in the Silver City, edging the Trail Troopers and Trail Nitehawks by identical 3-2 scores in minor hockey action.
Nelson defeated the Troopers on goals by Larson Proctor, Miller Tedesco and Sawan Bhabra.
The Novice Leafs then narrowly got past the Nitehawks on goals by Jack Boyes, Cohen Wolbaum and Drae Hudson.
The Leafs now prepare to host the annual Senior Novice Tournament January 8-10 at the NDCC Arena.
