Columbia Power helps sponsor Salmo Community Christmas dinner

Each year, volunteers from Salmo and Ymir host a free Christmas dinner to bring together members of their two communities.
Organized by Salmo Resident Mavis Stachurski, the Salmo-Ymir Community Christmas Dinner is a time for food, fellowship and getting to know your neighbour. Columbia Power is a sponsor of the event, which takes place on

Mavis leads her volunteers, including Sharon, Marlene and Marie, in two days of preparation for the dinner which is expected to host more than 300 attendees this year.
Andre Noel, Manager for Health and Safety with Columbia Power, met up with the volunteers in front of the event venue.
