Accident near Three Valley Gap claims two

A tractor-trailer collided with an eastbound car killing two people near Three Valley Gap Saturday (December 27) RCMP said.
The crash happened on Trans Canada highway near Three Valley Gap at approximately 1 p.m. Saturday.
The westbound tractor-trailer collided with the eastbound car between Revelstoke and Craigellachie.
Reports say the people in the car were killed.
The highway was closed for over nine hours as a RCMP traffic analyst investigated, and the wreckage was cleared from the road. The route reopened at about 9:30 p.m.
RCMP and B.C. Coroners Service are investigating.
