RCMP on lookout for man after dog shot
Revelstoke RCMP are on the lookout for a man who shot a couple’s husky-cross dog Saturday afternoon.
The couple, out picking mushrooms in the Wap Lake Road around 1 p.m., had their dog shot by a man after coming over a hill.
The suspect then took off, tossing his long gun into his vehicle.
RCMP are looking for a Caucasian man in his late 20s or 30s, with short black hair and stubble, wearing dark clothing and a ball cap.
The truck was a clean, black two-door Chevrolet pickup truck from the late 80s or early 90s with a tonneau cover, tinted windows and a distinctive chrome grill.
